At Neon Shark, our aim was to inspire creativity in all minds with an innovative range of products. The company was founded in 2012 and as with all start-ups, the founders of Neon Shark worked in a variety of roles. As Managing Director, I oversaw the registration of the company. As CFO and Secretary, I controlled all financial activity within the company, dealing with supplier/material costs, registration costs and legal fees. As a Designer, I was part of the design team on the company’s flagship product, co-writing and designing the pitching deck to help secure funding to enable the company to move forward. Unfortunately, due to other work restrictions we were unable to secure adequate funding in time and were subsequently beaten to market by competitors. Neon Shark ceased trading in 2015.
